The felt polishing wheel without center hole is a proven tool for the final polishing of minerals, fossils, natural stones, and gemstones on flat grinds or curves. It is perfect for the last polishing step in stone grinding and ensures a high-gloss surface on soft to very hard types of stone.
Thanks to its high-quality felt material, the polishing wheel enables particularly fine polishing results. With a thickness of approx. 6 mm, it offers an optimal combination of stability and flexibility.
Perfect for polishing natural stone and minerals
The felt polishing wheel is specially designed for use with oxide or diamond-based polishing agents.

Oxide polish (wet) – ideal at low speeds (150-300 rpm) for a particularly fine surface

Diamond paste (dry) – for efficient high-gloss polishing at higher speeds
This makes the disc ideal for many materials such as: granite, marble, agate, all quartz, fossils and other natural stones as well as minerals.
Note: For optimal polishing results, we recommend the hard felt variant. This reduces under-grinding and achieves better final polishes (mirror finish).

Note: The felt polishing wheel has no mount or attachment on the back. It must therefore be mounted with a suitable holder or an adhesive mount.
✅ Tip: For best results, the felt polishing wheel should always be used with the appropriate polishing agent and a matched speed. A separate felt disc is necessary for each polishing agent, as the different polishing agents have different grits.
Our hard felt polishing wheel achieves significantly better results than a soft one. The wool or felt comes from Merino sheep in Italy and has a high density. A must for polishing agates and other minerals, fossils.
